Shantytown Spacedock

The colonel checked his watch. It was 6:53. He was starting to doubt that the new recruits would show.
Then, across the spacedock, he noticed the assassin, his duffel slung over his shoulder. Behind him stood the honorable gangster. They were both scanning the spacedock, unaware of eachother. The colonel smiled. His investment did not go to waste.

The men spotted the shuttle and started to make their way towards it. Behind the colonel, the ship's engines roared to life. He turned and climbed the ramp, as if he did not notice them. 6:58. They better hury.

"Prepare for takeoff." He said to the pilot. Behind him, he heard the men climb aboard. The colonel hit the switch to close the ramp, and the ship took off before they even had a chance to sit. Turning, the colonel looked them over.

"Congragulations. You have be admitted to the finest military school that you never heard of. I am in charge of this program. Our mission is to create the finest warriors that promote peace across the Unified Coalition's empire. You are good fighters. But we will make you the best."
